Cards in a Jar

AKA Jards in a Car! THIS was the most fun out of all the projects I've done in the last 3 months. This jar is filled with 24 3x3 gift cards (all the rage now, ya know) - and I got to design each of the 24 cards by myself! That's why it was so much fun - the possibilities are endless. All the cards are made by using one Simply Scrappin kit, some embossing powder, a jar from Target, and stick-on pearls and rhinestones from Archivers. There is even enough left over to make another Jards in a Car. I just have to go get another jar at Target and some more ribbon. Jeri gave us the instructions for this project, but I am proud that I designed my own lid and cards, and it was my idea to add the crimped paper around the edge. These make WONDERFUL Christmas gifts. The recipient of this gift would have 2 cards a month to use for an entire year. The bottom photo is a close up of one of the 3x3 cards - however, each card is different.
